Johnny Depp to fill Heath's shoes?

Johnny Depp to take over for Heath as the leading man in The

Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus?

The Sun is now reporting that due to the out of the blue death of

Heath Ledger, Terry Gilliam has now approached Johnny Depp to fill in

for Ledger as the leading man. Remember, not as Ledger's character,

but as a completely different character. Heath would still be in the

film. Depp had previously worked with Gilliam on The Man Who Killed

Don Quixote, but due to a health issue with a cast member, the film

was cancelled.
